Beautiful green mountains.

Winding rivers that stretch as far as the eye can see.

Delicious fruits sold at giant fruit markets.

Huts.

Families gathered around fires cooking.

96 Laughing, screaming children.

Babies climbing in and out of my lap all day long.

Rain so heavy it hurts when it hits you.

Hearing the children of Swaziland sing the opening line to The Lion King.

Christmas songs over and over with excited children.

Aunties who sit you down and braid your hair.

Snakes, Frogs and Giant moths.

Jesus.

I’ve been slacking on blogs because our internet situation this month is very limited. But if you asked me to describe Africa, for me these are the things that come to mind.

My heart is so happy.

Although it is extremely difficult to be away from those I love during the Holidays, it feels wonderful and right to hug these babies for Christmas when they don’t have their own families.

Blog coming soon telling about each baby I work with!

Thank you all for your prayers, support and love. They are what keeps me going.
