Hey guys!
Sorry I have not written in a while. I have been house sitting, doing yard work, and other odds and ends to make some extra cash. I need to say lets praise God! A couple of reasons for this. One is that He has "The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23. Two is that He blesses us everyday with generous gifts. Third is the fact that we get to know a loving Savior and get to spend eternity with Him.
As of right now, I am in Las Cruces house sitting and while I am here I have been going to the pastors of the Methodist Churches that I know and asking if I can speak to their congregation and ask for support. I have a couple dates already down for November. I can't wait to share what God has done and will continue to do in the future. I still have a few more churches to call up and ask but it is amazing to see people I have never met donate. That is one thing I love about the body of Christ. Even though we do not know each other personally, we know each other through the bond of the blood of Christ. This is the greatest bond which will never be broken and goes just as deep or deeper than the blood bond of family.
I would like to up date you on how the fundraising is going. So after about 17 people donating I am up to 13% of my goal. This just blows me away!! You are all so wonderful!! I still need to do follow up calls for all the letters I have sent out. Praise God! Thank you guys for all of your support and prayer.
