Sex ed to 618 students
Yup, that’s right. I taught about HIV/AIDS to 618 high
school students.
We went to this village that was in the bush (middle of
nowhere). Then they took us to a school and we were all excited and we were so
glad that we were going to visit the students! We get there and the head master
(principal) says, “We are having an assembly today for you! We have 618
students that are waiting outside for you. Thanks for talking about HIV/AIDS for 30 minutes!”
*blank stare*
Well, since I am a certified health educator, all eyes
turned on me and smirked. Yup…yup…hmmm….yeah.
So I taught the students about “that stuff” and it went
EXTREMELY well 🙂
*phew* !!
