Wowzers, what a week of ministry. It felt good to actually
be busy for once! This past week, we have been making bricks (which equals
blisters) and weeding a massive area of land…ugh. So our hands are torn up,
along with our bodies being sore.

Along with sore bodies, teaching physical education to the
students did not help! In the afternoon, after the children were done their
final exams, we would have p.e. class! Oh it was so much fun πŸ™‚ so much running
and games and laughs and smiles…it felt so good!

Oh also, I handed out the letters to the students! It was
such a great time πŸ™‚ the children LOVED them! So thank you 1st grade
class at Quakertown Christian School!! πŸ™‚ You made their day!! They got to
stand up and read them to the rest of the students! Oh it was so great πŸ™‚

Now…makeover…huh? Well, its rainy season here, so when it
rains everyone goes into the classrooms and then they start playing with my
hair and my beard. They have given me that craziest makeovers, but it’s been so
fun and relaxing πŸ˜€
This picture is from Friday afternoon, while the students were braiding and
weaving banana fibers to make rope (again), the teachers were braiding my hair! It
hurt, but it was fun πŸ™‚ it took awhile and I was so happy to have it, but then
when I went to sleep…ouch…so I took them out b/c I really wanted to sleep…haha!

Oh, and also a cool story: so our first day in here, we go to a restaurant and I randomly talk to this lady that was there. She is 60 years old and passes out Bibles with The Gideons. Well I talked to her long enough for my pastor to come over and they exchanged phone numbers. I didn’t really think anything of it until a few days ago when…  -> SHE SHOWS UP!!! She passed out Bibles to ALL THE STUDENTS at the school!! WOW! PRAISE THE LORD!
Ok, usually on the World Race, we ‘plant seeds’ but never see the harvest. Well this time we planted a seed (by talking to this woman and connecting her with our pastor) and we saw the harvest (all the children getting Bibles). So cool!
