This is a fact: God gives you JUST ENOUGH energy to complete the task He gave you.

That’s all I really need to say, but examples make it more
fun…and a ‘better’ blog.

So the group that we were with in El Salvador for a week was
from El Salvador, Ecuador, and Nicaragua. They were from “Masters Commission”
and are partnered with “King’s Castle.” They were an amazing bunch of young
people, doing some great works for God and His Kingdom! These are the six
people that helped us out. There was another girl, Lucy, who came a few days
later, but we never got a group picture, so this will have to do.

By the end of their week of service, they were getting
really tired.

Problem: Hold on a
second, our team, the world race team, should be the tired ones! We have been
on the field for 5 months! The other team has only been here for one week.
Answer: That’s because God gives us just
enough energy to complete the task He gave you.

Here is another perfect example: I was a camp counselor for
the 2008 summer, 8 weeks! And I did not get tired at all, except for the last
few days. Then I went back and volunteered for ONE WEEK for the 2009 summer and
after that one week, I was already exhausted and my voice did not work anymore.

Problem: I wondered how I
did it the summer before, and another 7 weeks! I could never do that!
Answer: Well, it’s because God gives us just
enough energy to complete the task He gave you.

Hebrews 13 20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the
eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep,
 21 equip you with everything
good for doing his will
, and may he work
in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever
and ever. Amen.
