First off. God is so good. So very good. When I started this journey preparing for the World Race, my biggest fear were the funds. Where was the $16,561 going to come from? I surely did not have that in my savings. So when my first deadline of $5,000 was quickly approaching, I was very doubtful and was prepared to use my savings to reach this goal. But God is so incredible. Each time I was doubting myself and my fundraising efforts, I would get an email, a notification that someone had donated. On July 18th, four days before it was due, I received a donation that helped me surpass my first deadline. I am now 30.49% towards being fully funded. By reaching this goal, I now have the funds to go to training camp August 10-20. Where I will meet my whole squad, and grow together and prepare ourselves for launch this October.
Second off. My next deadline is to raise $10,000 by September 16th. It is a big number. I know that. But I also know that my God is bigger than that number. I need $4,950 more to reach that goal.
Third off. My gratitude is so great towards every generous soul that has so graciously kept me in their prayers, and to those who have decided to partner with me financially. I truly can’t express how much it means to me. So here is a picture to show my excitement.
Fourth off. Reaching this goal is a big accomplishment. I am not trying to belittle it in any way. But this journey is far from over. I still am in need of $11,511 to be fully funded. I would love for you to stay connected and involved on this amazing adventure with me.
Ways for you to be involved.
1. Pray. Prayer is what I am relying on. Prayer has to be the foundation for anything God calls you to do. Pray for me, as I raise funds. Pray for my squad who are all on the same journey as me. Pray for our health and safety as we are all preparing for this next year, and as we head to training camp in less than a month.
2. Subscribe. This blog is where I will keep you informed so you don’t miss what is going on in my world. Be my friend and add me on social media.
3. Partner with me financially. I am not asking you to make donate some outrageous amount. Every penny counts. If all you have to spare is the change in your cars cup holder, it adds up. Last month several people gave me their spare change and with all of it added up, I was able to deposit almost $400. Please pray about helping me go out and do God’s work.
