In case you were wondering … yes I did play this song while we were crossing the border.  (rock on)

Greetings from San Felix, Panama!

We spent 5 days in Tamarindo Beach, Costa Rica for debrief. Now we have arrived in our fifth country, Panama. I am here with my new team, and it is the rainy season.   We will be working with the indigenous deaf and tutoring indigenous kids, both here and in the villages in the mountains. It will be interesting since I know very little sign language, and already the Panamanian Spanish accent is throwing me for a loop.

Please pray for the Holy Spirit to go absolutely nuts this month, for us to jump out of our comfort zone, for good attitudes, for us to get to know each other better quickly so we can mesh well as a team, and for being cool in this heat.

P.S.  We have a little house to stay in with a WASHING MACHINE. Do you know how long it has been since I have used a washing machine? It is a beautiful thing. And a blender. And a rice cooker. And a crock pot. And we have a filter for purified water instead of having to buy jugs. Praise God!!!!!

P.P.S. Also pray for the new team leaders and squad leaders. It is a big change, but THEY CAN DO IT!!!! God is going to rock our socks off again.
