Whoa!! It has been almost a month since my last update. So first off I apologize for the disappearing act. I’m sure all of you check your phones or emails several times throughout the day to check to see if I posted a new blog!  Those of you who aren’t subscribed to my blog, it’s very easy, just click the “Follow Me” button on the left and type in your cell number or email. Then you won’t have to come all the way to my blog to see if I’ve made a new post because every time I do it will notify you.

Second, THANK YOU for all the prayers and donations. Our God is great and I never doubted Him or my mission BUT I did doubt my ability to raise $$$. But look at you guys go, I’m at 50% and ahead of my deadlines!! This isn’t possible without you all so I thank you with all of my heart. God has called me into the field but what you all have done is more important because without the support financially and prayerfully it wouldn’t be possible for me to go!!

Another THANK YOU goes out to everyone who helped make my yard sale such a success!!! Everyone who donated, helped set up, priced items, brought me lunch, prayed for/with me or came out and bought stuff!! It was all of you that helped the yard sale to not only meet my goal but DOUBLE it!! After weeks of prep, I got home the night before feeling physically and mentally drained. I went to the Lord and said a simple prayer saying I’ve done all I can do, the rest is in your hands. Then sure enough the next 3 days he sent so many kind and giving people my way!

God is teaching me so much during this prep time, that I cannot wait to be in the field to see what he will teach me. I’m learning how to love everyone for who they are and not who I want them to be. I’m learning how to submit myself fully over to Him, not just when I want. I’m learning to see the good in the situations I’m put in and to let go of the negativity in my past. I’m learning that hard times will come no matter what, but God can ease the pain. I’m learning that there is no shame in falling uphill! I’m learning to be a true daughter of God. It’s so awesome to be seeing clearly. Yes the lines get blurred still, but  I’ve stayed on track thanks to the support of my squad mates A.K.A. the strongest/kindest/funniest group of people I’ve never met!!! haha

Which brings us to present day! In less than 48 hours my squad mates and I will FINALLY get to meet face to face at training camp!!!! We are finally going to see the faces that go with all the secrets & embarrassing stories! After months of facebooking, texting and phone calls I’m so glad it’s finally here. OH WAIT..I haven’t packed yet!! Maybe I should get started on that. YIKES!!

This blog is a little all over the place but so is my mind these days!!

I will post an update after Training Camp!

xoxo
