Hey I’m Breanna and I like warm hugs!!(hopefully someone has seen Frozen to understand) I grew up on my family’s farm in a small town called St. Anne in Illinois. Growing up on the farm meant we always were doing something. My parents are not only farmers but they also have a small business (my brother and I work with them now) where we buy, sell and trade farm equipment and hold three auctions a year. My brother, sister and I were always helping. Whether we were bottle feeding calves, picking up rocks in the field or running for parts, it didn’t matter because either way our parents were teaching us responsibilities and how not to give up. I’m very thankful for those lessons. These lessons helped me through grade school and high school because I was an athlete. I’ve always been active and had a passion for sports. That is why I chose to be a coach for girls’ softball this summer. It is a different game from the coach perspective but I still love the game and it is an awesome feeling passing on my knowledge of the game. Watching these girls grow and transform as a team is more rewarding than any trophy I ever won!! During high school I would go on Mission Trips with my church’s youth group. These are some of my fondest memories. (Even the year we got lice lol) Also, the high school I attended had a retreat called Kairos that I went on my Senior year. My fellow female classmates and I left for 4 days and spent those days learning how to be the best us for God and realizing we weren’t alone. That we were all facing troubles and just needed to lean on each other. I feel like I have a great foundation and now I want to build on it!!
Random facts: I bought my first house in May of 2012 at 24! I love reading, peanut butter, hiking, rollerblading, baking and eating cupcakes, taking pictures, movies, running, the Chicago cubbies, Nike and napping!! I am usually the loudest person in the room. I’m pretty straight forward and almost never shy. I give 100% to everything. I’ve been skydiving twice. I failed my driving test when I was getting my license the first time. haha I almost never wear makeup or dresses BUT I do love to get dressed up once in awhile. Music lyrics take up at least 80% of my brain capacity. The Serenity Prayer has always and will always be my favorite prayer. I love star gazing while laying outside. I’m stubborn when it comes to admitting I was wrong. I am willing to try everything at least one. (minus eating fish..I just can’t talk myself into that one for some reason) I will always be honest. A wise person once told me that “The truth that draws a tear is better than a lie that draws a smile!!”
MY FAMILY!! They are the four people who support and love me no matter what. My dad can make anyone laugh (even if you’re in the worst mood). My mom is the most giving person I know and would give the coat off her back for a complete stranger. My sister is strong, loving and never gives up. Which leaves my brother, who is a little bit of everyone. He is giving, funny, kind, strong, loyal and loving! My family has given me the best foundation and support system a girl could ask for!! I wouldn’t be where I am today without them!
MY BEST FRIENDS!! To put these girls in a nutshell would be impossible. They are crazy, loud, loyal, loving, fun, passionate, testing, encouraging and always there for me. I couldn’t imagine them not in my life. We have been there for the good and bad, the easy and hard times, the birth of children and the death of loved ones. These girls will always be a part of my life!

OUR PETS!! My family doesn’t have the most conventional pets but we love them all! The 135lb Rot in the small bed is Dee. She is very loyal and always there for me. The strawberry thief is Scout (from To Kill a Mockingbird). She’s CRAZY!! The “selfie” taking deer is Willow. She is no longer with us but we loved her so much for her few short years on earth that I couldn’t leave her out! The party hat wearing fool is Carlos. My mom brought him back to life, on a few different occasions, and now he is a part of a family and not dinner! 😉 We raise beef cattle so we normally don’t get attached to our cows but Carlos is the exception. Finally, I saved the best for last…LuLu. She was a mixed puppy we got 14 yrs ago and that makes her our oldest dog ever! She has had 4 or 5 litters of puppies, runs the 100 yards to work when mom leaves her behind, beat cancer, had to deal with 3 kids and still manages to make it to work everyday! She’s the best dog we have ever had!

MY FAVORITE LITTLE PEOPLE!! First we have Zakk. He’s 6 and he’s so smart he outsmarts him momma often. LOL He hacked her facebook and sent out so many requests to all her friends just so he could get some points for his game Dragon City!! I can’t believe how fast he is growing up. Next we have Caleb who is 3. He’s a daddy’s boy and loves to be outside. He also got promoted to big brother in December and he couldn’t be prouder about that. Miss Madison is third and she turned 1 yesterday! This little girl makes everyone smile. She is so happy and fun that I wish I could spend everyday with her. Finally we have Cuyler, Caleb’s little brother, who is the happiest, cuddliest, silliest baby who ever existed!! Oh and he’s a momma’s boy!! I can’t wait to see what his future holds!
