I started my journey into this world 27 years ago, and like most journeys it has had its pain and its joy, but Jesus has seen me through it all. He has pursued me from my first breath on this earth. Even when I didn’t acknowledge him and often blamed him for life’s pain. The wonder and beauty of God is that he continues to pursue us even when we are our messiest. No matter how messy we are and how bad we think we’ve been Jesus stands with open arms waiting for us to run to him.
I chose the race not for an adventure or to mark it off my bucket list, I chose the race because the world needs the love and hope of Jesus Christ. Don’t get me wrong I know I can minister here in the US and I have, but for this year God has chosen the race. I will get to live as close to a Matthew 10 life as possible. I’m hungry for more, more of his heart and a clearer view of what he’s doing in the earth. I’ve read so many books about what he did in days past and i’ve also seen him do many miraculous things, but im hungry for more. I’m excited about the healing’s, signs and wonders but i’m even more excited about how he’s moving on the hearts of the lost.
God is on the move and he’s building an army of lay down lovers to go to the 4 corners of the earth with one agenda, the gospel of Jesus Christ! This army is not what one would expect. We are a people from all walks of life, many have been rejected by the world but were accepted by their loving father. We are an army that is tired of religious politics, and being told we have to wait for his Glory. We are an army of hope in hopelessness, we believe in our God and his mission and were willing to give it all for the sake of the Gospel. The world was fun for a moment, but at the end of the day no person or thing could fill the cracks that only he can fill.
This is the journey that I have chosen, he has begun to break my heart for what breaks his. My independence is being stripped away with dependence on him and its super hard sometimes, but i choose the hard things so that some might know him. The world is crying out for the love and hope that only he can bring! If we are willing he wants to use us to bring that love and hope in every mountain of influence:) Ask him who he wants you to touch today and you might be amazed at how clearly he directs you!
