Psquad!!!

ok so here’s a ruff break down of training camp, days kind’a ran all together,
Food was weird and different each day, cause they fed us food from a different continent each day, I really liked most of it π
we took on different camping senerios each day to challenge and train us for the field, not to mention it was raining almost nonstop and cold,
slept in our own tent one night the next they took half the squads gear as if it was lost in an airport, and of course my pack was one that was lost, so all I had was my day pack, with almost nothing in it, made for a very cold night, the next night we was lay’d over in an airport, still without half our packs, a bunch of people shoved together sleeping on the floor and across the airport chairs, next night they let us grab what we needed out of our packs and slept inside on the floor again, simply because there was a tornado watch and raining really hard and they didn’t want anyone to drown haha, had a camp out night with no tents one night witch I have a hammock so I slept pretty good that night hanging between two trees, one of the lady’s got healed as we where singing worship songs and praying around the camp fire,
our first few days where full of teachings, by a Dr. Ron Walborn, witch I must say some of the best teaching I’ve heard in a long time, really kind’a delt with helping us identify the things in us that kept us from be’n as close to god as we should be, as well as teaching us how to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and how to pray for others and minster to them through the Holy Spirit, as well as healing,
So like right off the bat god went to work in me, bringing me to tears as he was breaking off stuff that was keeping me from be’n truly free, and blocking me from be’n sensitive to the Holy Spirit, there was a lot of lies I was believing about my self, that where still keeping me silent, one of the men came and prayed for me durning worship and spoke words over me that where spot on and god was just like releasing me of all this junk,
God stretched us so much physically, emotionally, spiritually and mentally, and forced us to go a little deeper each day. I’ve learned how to listen to god better and have noticed that when I speak up god puts words in my mouth and shows me things as I speak, I’ve learned how to be led by the spirit as I pray and minster to others.
It was so cool to see such freedom in the spirit, and to see so many people used by the spirit on a daily basis, some where healed others spoke words over others and prayed spirit led prays over one another, and helped each other grieve there losses so they could finely let those losses go and move forward in Christ,
The man swim, and the African market,
So one day they loaded all the men up on a bus and just started driving, (they never told us anything till it came time to do it, so we never had a clue what they had in store for us next) we stopped on pretty much the side of the road and walked down a hill to this house on a lake, so yea they wanted us to swim across a lake, (I Can’t Swim!) it was raining and chilly, and lake water was really cold too, so yea there was that awkward moment when your standing around and in a circle of bout 30 men in only there underwear, :/ well except for me lol, it was a test of man hood to see who could swim across this lake (witch was at least a 1/4 of a mile to the other side) while holding a log over our heads to get it to the other side with out get’n it wet. thankfully they had life jackets, and one of the men Jason who is now on my team, stayed behind with me to teach me how to swim, and I actually made it to the other side, and over half way back too, it was more mentally exhausting then physical, thou I was very sore the next day, it was very encouraging to have someone stay behind and not let me give up, also that lake had some of the best tasting water I’ve ever drank,
The African Market,
ok so they do this living human simulation of what it would be like to have to shop for food in a busy African market place, It was me and 7 lady’s try’n to figure out the fake money so we could buy us some food and not miss out on lunch, in a crowd of bout 200 people, and a van/taxi driving through the crowd almost running over everyone, and man you would not believe how stink’n real they made it seem, so real and confusing and stressful that I snapped when a pickpocket came and tried to take the fake money out of one of the girls hands that I put him in a choke hold and was try’n to wrestle him to the ground to get it back, I felt so bad bout it, 1 I’m not a fighter at all I had no clue where that even came from, 2 had we really been in Africa my actions would have put me and my team in a lot of danger, but thankfully it was just an act and the poor staff member I try’d to kill came and had a talk with me afterwards to make sure we was cool and not mad at each other lol we finely did get out of there with some food, a bunch of food actually, two big pots full lol
Love my P squad! π we have some Awesome squad leaders and my team is pretty legit! π
these are the fokes I’ll be spending most of the 11 months with π

I hope this helps kind’a put things in perspective for everyone there’s so much more I could go on forever but no time for that now π
