It’s day 3! Made it to San Jose, Costa Rica intact! Not feeling any culture shock really. My brain just gets confused if I should be listening/speaking Spanish to the person. In general the food here is amazing! Yes, I have 1 recipe already written down. I really love the locals here. Most are Nicaraguan refugees from 50 years ago or descendants of them. We’re staying with a couple from America who has been living here for the past 4 years. Their names are Angie and David Ziel. They have a great sense of humor and a heart for the people and teaching them the Word. Now about the Koreans.. It turns out that our day 2 consisted of meeting a Korean missions group from New York. They’re here for the next few days to give medical, dentist, and eye treatments. Along with playing with the children. We honestly had no idea what to expect. Should be speak English to them? or will we have to speak rough Spanish to them since they only know Korean? Turns out most are fluent in English. Thank God! Ministry wise we have have been getting to know the locals, playing with the kids, helping finish building their church that we’re actually sleeping in, and getting to know our host. Life is good here and everything is rockin! (I’d upload photos, but I’m currently having trouble uploading them to blogs) currently I’ll try and post them to facebook or instagram @ b_coco
