“For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.” Exodus 20:11
today is team Karis’s day of sabbath. so what does that mean? when we only have a month in each country how can we really afford to take an entire day off once a week and not be sharing the love of Christ with the people here? easy. if we aren’t taking a sabbath, what are we giving the people? ourselves. not God. so today i am resting. reading. blogging. listening to music. eating. and i feel the Lord rejuvenating me, and it is beautiful.
don’t forget to rest. fill up on the Lord. let Him fill your cup to overflowing so He can spill on people and not you.
