Yep, I passed out. Here’s the
story…
We went to a hospital
in Jinotepe, Nicaragua to pray for the patients there.
Here is where the patients were. We started praying at the opposite end of the room.
I was with two ladies
from my squad and two Nicaraguan ladies.
We prayed over our
first lady, who was a little crazy and wouldn’t let us leave her.
After finally getting
away from her we prayed over the next lady.
Then, the Nicaraguan
ladies were talking to the third lady to find out her condition.
Christina Dombrowsky,
my Spanish speaking teammate, was translating to us what was wrong with the
lady.
I’m standing there,
burning up because I’m so hot.
The room was probably 80 degrees or hotter, with no
fans or anything to move air around.
My head starts
spinning.
I hear Christina say, “She is about to go into her third surgery
and there’s nothing the doctors can do after that…”
Then the next thing I
know I’m lying on the ground with a crowd of people around me asking me to roll
over.
Everyone was asking me
if I am okay, most of them slightly freaking out, okay really freaking out…
I uttered, “I’m fine.”
Apparently, my eyes
rolled to the back of my head.
I fell down like I was overcome by the Holy Spirit, just fell straight forward without bending
anything.
I smacked my head on a
metal hospital bed on the way down.
My two squadmates tried
to catch me as I fell, but it was too late.
I was lying on the
ground, face first, holding my head up in the air grunting.
Then, I relaxed my
body.
Everyone got my
attention and I woke up and that’s when I rolled over.
Everyone had me stand
up and sit in a chair.
This all happened in
the span of about ten seconds.
I
was fine, just had a huge knot on my head.
Never
have I ever passed out before.
Well,
until now.
Here is a picture, post
passing out…yes I look like a hot mess, you are welcome.
For future reference I need to drink more water.
I’m so thankful that
all I have on my head is a knot.
From the sound of my
head hitting the metal bed, my friends thought my head was for sure going to be
busted.
I guess there are some perks to having a hard head.
God’s angels were protecting me while in the
hospital.
Thank you for your prayers for protection.
Thank you for your prayers for me daily.
Thank you for all of your support so that I can be
His hands and feet among the nations.
Your prayers that you pray for me
ARE POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE.
Keep on prayin’.
