All of G-squad entered
into Los Pinos during our last full day in Honduras.

Los Pinos is a very unsafe
part of Honduras where a lot of violence, sex, and drugs occurs.

Also, Los Pinos is where
all of the once street boys on Zion’s Gate property are from.

We were able to told we
would have the ability to visit 8 homes of some of the boys’ family.

Team OIL (myself and five (Hannah was sick otherwise it would be six…) lovely ladies I have been doing life with) went into Los Pinos with intentions
of being led by the Holy Spirit to share with the families.

The only thing we knew we
would do going in was to talk to the families, pray for them, and anoint their
homes.

OIL is our team name and
we have proclaimed over ourselves that we are Overflowing Infinite Love. Our
desire is to share that with the world and we have visions of anointing people
with the oil of gladness as Isaiah 61 says (where are team name originated
from).

Here is what our day looked like going into the homes.

House #1 Herman’s Mom, Sister, niece and nephew

SIDENOTE: Before entering
Herman’s moms house there was a little boy outside of the house and we started
found out his name is Angel (ON-hel). Before coming into Los Pinos we were
praying for God to protect us with his angels due to what had happened the week
before (read my “Apparently I Am An Angel” blog for more on that).

We visited Los Pinos a
week ago and I had already visited Herman’s family and was able to hear their
hearts. At this point, Herman was living back in Los Pinos and had left the
property. He was at a point where he didn’t know what he wanted for his life
and he was also unsure of God’s plan for Him.

A couple of days later
Herman came to the property and met with Tony and the guys on our squad and
accepted Jesus. PRAISE THE LORD! Now, Herman has committed to live at Zion’s
Gate without leaving the property for anything other than school for the next 6
months. Which is a HUGE step for him!?!

Needless to say, when we
visited Herman’s family he wasn’t there, but his family welcomed us. His family
was overjoyed that he had returned to the property. Once we arrived to the
house Herman’s mom was talking about how she was excited to be able to put down
a new floor in her home and that she had been waiting all morning for the
materials. OIL decided to split up and half go to Herman’s sisters’ home and
pray over & anoint her home. I stayed at Herman’s mom’s house and we prayed
over her home, her, and protection for Herman.

House #2 Ariel’s sister, Nanci

Ariel and Angel walked us
to Nanci’s home.

Might I just add that any
time we were struggling to make it over these random, narrow, not so sturdy
paths, Angel was there holding us up and taking our hands to guide us on the
way. There is no doubt in my mind that God had sent him to protect our team.

While at Nanci’s, we asked
her for prayer requests. She told us that her husband needed to find a
construction job because he builds homes. The Holy Spirit led me to share with
her that her husband is going to find a job. Also, I shared from Luke 6 about building
your house on solid rock (read blog “Solid Rock or Sinking Sand” for more
info). I told her that her house was built on the foundation of Jesus Christ
and for her to remember to continue being filled up with His Word.

Also, OIL prayed for
healing over Nanci’s son who has had a cough for at least a week.

House #3 Ariel & Roni’s mom, Naomi

Prayed for Naomi’s six
children and then Christina shared the story of the Prodigal Son.

We were talking to Naomi
and telling her that God has a perfect plan for her and her children and she
started crying. We started to pray for her and by praying I mean “Yell prayed.”

What’s yell pray you ask??

It’s a new type of prayer
to Team OIL where we are literally yelling declarations and prayers over the
person we are laying hands on. Also, we pray “World Race Style” or “Korean
Prayer” and we all pray at the same time. I could feel God’s presence working
in us as we prayed.

She was weeping from the
presence of the Lord.

House #4 Jennifer’s mom

Her heart valve was not
working correctly and she was not stable. She cannot stand for long periods of
time or do much of anything. My team leader, Courtney shared with Jennifer’s
mom about how she had complete healing over her heart several years ago. Doctors
thought that they were going to need to operate on her heart, but she went in
for a check-up and she was completely healed by the Lord. Courtney prayed over
her and anointed her with OIL and declared healing.

House #5 Luis’ grandmother & sister Fanny

Grandmother asked for
prayer for her daughter who just got out of an abusive relationship. As soon as
I heard her say those words I knew this was my time to speak. First, we prayed over
her and asked her if we could anoint the house. Two teammates both felt called
to share from Ephesians 6 at the same exact time. We prayed over her letting
her know that her prayers are powerful and effective. God was present in that home!

As I shared with her about
my past, my teammate anointed the house with oil.

I shared with her about my
past of being abused verbally, physically, and emotionally while growing up. I
told her that there is freedom from those hurts in Christ. I told her that God
has His hands over her daughter. He is our protector. He is our God.

After sharing with her, I
anointed her with oil and we yell prayed over her. After praying for his
grandmother, I also anointed and prayed over Fanny.

We found out that the
Sunday before she went to church asking if they had anointing oil, but they did
not have any. As we had prayed over her in the beginning we proclaimed that her
prayers were powerful and effective. Look at how God answers prayers!

House #6 Carlos & Fernando’s grandmother

Let me just tell you that
before we got to this house we had to hike over a wall that was nearly a 90
degree angle with no place to put your feet. Here is a picture of some of my
teammates walking across the area::

This picture doesn’t really do it justice. I wish you could have been there…

We were told by Carlos and
Fernando that the house was just “over there.” So, we walked and went down a
hill, just to find out that we had walked past the house and we needed to go
back up the hill.

We find the home and enter
inside of it, after she had apologized for the mess that was in her home.

This precious lady was so
tiny and fragile, yet she had so much joy.

We asked her if there was
anything we could pray over her for and she told us she had an inflamed
stomach.

The first team that
visited this home actually casted out a demon, read about it here:

House #7 Mabela, Carlitos’ mother

Mabela has ovarian cancer
and we prayed for healing over her body. She is essentially bed ridden right
now with no ability to be mobile. Meagan shared a story about her friend that
had ovarian cancer. We shared with her that the Lord is going to strengthen
her. We then prayed for her, anointed her and the home.

House #8 Walter’s mom

Arrived to the house to no
answer, but Walter’s little brother was inside. He opened the door; we entered
and found out that his mom was taking a shower. We felt awkward, so we left. We
went outside the house and anointed the house with oil and prayed over it.

Meagan noticed a neighbor
who was sitting outside observing us pray over the house so she asked if she
had anything we could pray for. The lady invited us into her home, alas we went
to 8 homes instead of 9.

House #9 Walter’s neighbor

Might I note that this was
not a planned home visit.

We go into this home and
talk to the lady, get to know where she is at. She has been going through a lot
and not certain of where she stands with her relationship with Christ. She said
that she was so far away from Him. I told her that it doesn’t matter how far away from God she is, that He is only one
step away
.

Once we started opening up
to her, she did the same for us. She is very broken, but has hope in God’s
protection over her life. His presence could be felt in her home.

God TOTALLY prepared the
way for Team OIL. In each of the homes there was a special something that we
were able to bless each home with. Anything from a personal testimony, lesson learned,
sharing scripture, anointing with oil, or offering prayer.

God is present within our
team.

God is doing big things
within us.

God is unifying us
together to build His Kingdom.

VERY IMPORTANT SIDENOTE: Since this
day, July 30th, satan has been attacking Team OIL. BUT our God is so
much bigger than satan and my King has a hold of us. There has been anything
from demon sightings to loss of voices of our Spanish speaking people. PLEASE,
PLEASE, PLEASE be praying against satans attacks, cuz you all know that our GOD
is so much bigger!
