When I made the big move to Gainesville, GA, the first thing
I was able to be a part of was Training Camp for the January ’10 World Race (M
and N Squads). I got to watch them grow, change, and experience freedom from
their pasts. I was also able to watch them spit all over each other in a
wonderful model about ministering to people groups that do not speak English. I
watched as they stepped out and did their first ministry together as teams. And
it was a pleasure to be a part of stomping the tar out of them during our
Racers vs. Alumni Dance-Off (it seems I cannot lose a dance off… I guess it’s
my destiny). And now these 100+ plus men and women are preparing for their own
11 month life-changing trip starting in January.

M and N Squads will be starting their trip around the world
in Auckland, New Zealand, and though all of us at the World Race office are
running around making sure that we have everything prepared for their departure
after the New Year, there is a buzz of anticipation to see what sorts of things
are going to happen through these men and women. We can’t wait to hear stories
of orphans being held in their own arms, mouths being fed with their own food,
wounds being held with their own faith, and truth being spoken with their own
mouths. It’s going to be amazing!

As these folks are preparing for their trip after the
holidays, getting their tents, backpacks, and quick-dry underwear ready, there
are still some of them who are struggling to get all of their support accounts
where they need to be. They need to have 60% of their $14,000 by January 1st
in order to leave for New Zealand, or they will have to be delayed to a later
Race. Please pray for their support accounts to be past the goal so that they
will not have to focus on support-raising in the midst of feeding the hungry,
playing with street kids, or building a house. If you feel God is asking you to
help out one (or all!) of them, keep in mind how much of an impact your help
will have in lives around the world, from New Zealand to Romania, Thailand to
Kenya.

And I know that some of you became very excited about the idea
of me dancing, so here’s an old video to prove why it is physically impossible
for me to lose a dance-off!
Thanks for reading.
