The moment you have all been waiting for- or at least I have been waiting for. After a couple days of stressful team-building and feeling like I was being analyzed and watched at all times, we were finally put into the teams that we will be serving with for the next year around the world. So without going on and on about how amazing my team is, I announce to you: Team Karis!

Karis in greek actually means “grace.” We want to be pure and holy vessels to carry God’s grace around the world. It is only by His grace that we are given the gift of life and the love He has for us. So as a team put together by Jesus Himself, we go forth into the world to spread God’s grace and love.

Brandon Clayton- The other man on our team. He has a great heart for our Father and has been filled with love for the broken around the world. He will be my brother on the Race and will give me great strength and inspiration in service.

Tangi Holmes- This woman is a light to this team. Her energy is a joy to me and the team, and her compassion is wonderful. Her spirit will be a great gift for God’s people.

Katie Duff (in the white)- Though meek and quiet at times, her love for Jesus Christ will never be silenced. I cannot wait to spend the next year serving alongside Katie and looking into the heart God has given her.

Cindy Flores- It’s not just coincidence that she and I were on the same flight from Philly to training camp. Cindy has an amazing joy that resonates throughout our team. I look forward to becoming family with her over the next year and living in community with her (and eating her food!)

Lindsay Heston- Our official team leader. Lindsay will challenge us to keep pressing into God’s Heart and we will hear His voice through her. We will be inspired by her and she will lead us into the world to serve in every way.

So this is Team Karis! Team Grace. Over the next 7 weeks we will continue to press into what The Lord has in store for us. We will continue to pray for each other and we will meet back up in LA as a great force proclaiming the Word of the Lord. Please Continue to pray for us. And as a team we grow to become one body, with the blood of Christ flowing in us and the flesh of Christ surrounding us. So if you pray for me, you pray for this team. Thank you for your support.

Also, if you still feel called to support me financially, I have already met my financial goal with pledges (praise God!). However, my teammates are still in great need for financial support. If you feel any push to give to this ministry, check out my teammates blogs. There will be another blog about this soon.

Thanks for reading.
