Family and Friends,
Hope all is going well with you! Last year in 2013, I went on a mission trip called the World Race. I went to eleven countries in eleven months. We were serving others to share the love of Jesus and to come alongside their ministries to support them in any way possible. Right now I am with Adventures in Missions (AIM) in a program called the Center for Global Action which is a mission internship which focuses on discipleship, apprenticeship and community. This has been a great season of preparation for what God has called to me do in January 2015!
I’m excited to announce that I will be heading down to Antigua, Guatemala for four months to serve alongside the Adventures in Missions base.
Some of the things I will be doing in Guatemala from January-May 2015 are:
Discipleship with a mentor who will challenge and encourage me to grow spiritually
Apprenticing under an AIM base Leader in Guatemala doing hands-on ministry which will help prepare me for a long-term missions position with AIM or another missions organization.
Doing ministry with partnered organizations in the Antigua, Guatemala area.
Learning from experienced missionaries about orphan care through courses and hands-on learning.
I am excited about this opportunity God has called me to in Guatemala! I feel so honored to be a servant of Jesus to many nations.
I would like to invite you to partner with what God is doing in Guatemala. He is using me as His hands and feet to bring God’s love to the least. I can’t do this without your prayers and support! The total support needed for this mission to Guatemala is $8,100. The good news is I already have $4,679 towards this goal—Praise God!!
By January 1st, my support account needs to have $6,075 for me to go to Guatemala with Adventures in Missions.
By March 1st, my support account has to be fully funded with $8,100.
