Hey family and friends, I need a FINAL PUSH to Finish the Race!!
Here's a recap so far on how God has used me to advance the Kingdom since I left in January!
January 2013- Costa Rica
I was in Alajuelita, Costa Rica and I was working with 6:8 Ministries. The ministry is focused on feeding children and homeless people. God was able to use me by showing love to children who needed love the most and came from broken families. Many days consisted of playing with children, feeding the homeless in neighborhoods, and packing backpacks for 6:8 child sponsorship program to allow children to go to school for the year.
The Lord taught me I am loved and I am worthy! I am loved by The Lord who can never let me go out of His loving arms and I am a worthy Son of the King!
February 2013- Nicaragua
Our whole squad was together in Palacaquina, Nicaragua and we were partnered with local churches. I was part of helping a church on the mountains building a cafeteria/feeding center to help feed 60 children who are in need! I was involved in street evangelism and preaching the word at the local church and youth ministry.
The Lord taught me , I am loved more by my Heavenly Father more than anyone else can! When human love comes and goes the love by our Heavenly Father never goes away!
March 2013- Honduras
I was on the mountain above Erandique, Honduras and our BTX was the first world race team to partner with Pastor Alejandro's church. We ministered to the Mayan Indian community up on the mountains. Our ministry consisted of teaching English, door to door evangelism, prayer, and leading church services.
The Lord taught me to be yourself in Christ! Don't try to be someone else or compare someone else to you just be yourself!!
April 2013- Thailand I am working with an ministry called Remember Nhu were we working on the prevention side of sex trafficking. We have been involved in the starting process of an new boys home for Remember Nhu by cutting trees and clearing bamboo for the land. We were spending time with the boys and girls homes in the evening by playing and showing Christ's love towards the children.
The Lord has taught me a valuable question to ask myself daily: Am I being the best Blake I can be today? I am striving to be the best man God has created and intended me to be in Christ!!

In 60 days I need $3,730 to Finish the Race!!
At the end of the Race I need to fly back home from an US destination to be determined at a later time. This is not covered in my $15,500 for the race! The World Race is not friendly to shoes or flip flops! A pair of flip flops broke and my shoes are about 60 percent worn and coming off right now but it's all good!! For personal needs about $800 to finish the race for a plane ticket back home in late November or early December and for shoes!
The great news is God has been working in me and through me during The World Race! The work is not done in my life and the world needs people to show Christ's love to others so we can expand the Kingdom of Christ!
