On Tuesday night after the worship service we had an all squad meeting. On of our squad leaders Joel was talking to us about our identity in Christ. Finding our identity in Christ is a common thing talked about on the race. We want to become who we are in Christ and not what the world tells us about our identity.
After the talk about identify Joel had us pray to God about what He is speaking over us. This was an eye opening experience for me because prophesy in the churches I have been apart of has never been explained to me until I was called to The World Race. So I prayed to God and asked Him what is He saying to me. God said one important thing to me dealing with comparing others to me. God told me, "I am loved more by a father who loves me more than anyone on my squad or anyone in the world!" I am always loved by my Heavenly Father no matter what I do or don't do! This is so good!!
Then our group spoke out boldly about what The Lord is declaring over you! I stood on a chair and God told me this, "I am an encourager!" "I am bold!" "I am called to help people who are struggling in their faith." "I am supposed to go out and boldly preach the gospel to the lost and struggling believers to strengthen their faith in Christ!" I was like this is crazy Lord but He proclaimed this over me!
My next blog will be about the craziness in Nicaragua which happened to me and how God used me! Unless God changes my plans!
