I have to tell everyone when I was introduced to my team for The World Race I was
SO EXCITED!! to be place on the team I was and
SO THANKFUL!! I am a part of M-squad which has 56 young adults on the mission team but Team BTX is the team which is my family for the next 11 months
SO AWESOME!!
Team BTX stands for
"Behind the Cross" This is based from Mark 8:34-35 which says," Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said:, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it."
In short our team will place Jesus as number ONE and we will always walk behind Jesus!

Jeff Tyner- Jeff is from Raleigh, North Carolina and he may be 30 years old but he knows how to have fun!! His humor keeps us laughing at all times! Jeff is an avid world traveler who has been over 30 countries and has worked for United Airlines since he was 18. Jeff will also be a great leader on this team by keeping us disciplined and protecting our team. His heart for Jesus is so amazing! Check his website out at

Riah Robinson- Riah is 26 years old and from Lexington, Kentucky. She is our Team Leader. Riah has a passion for Jesus which is so great! Her hunger for studying God's Word is amazing! She has a leadership style which she puts others first before herself which is like Christ! A fun fact about Riah is she loves to take hard challenges head on by preparing for battle!! Tati Famania- Tati is 22 years old and from San Diego, California. She has a sweet heart for people! She is a great listener and she has a smile which lights up the room! Our team will be leaning heavily on her Spanish abilities when we hit Honduras and Costa Rica in the middle of The World Race adventure. Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11. Rachel Roskilly- Rachel is 23 years old and from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin She may come off a little hyper when you first meet her but all in all she's awesome! Her passion for having fun will come into handy in ministry especially being around children. Her love for people is evident as she treats everyone as a member of her family! She is crazy for Jesus! Trever Ball- Trever is 24 years old and from Great Bend, Kansas. He wants everyone to know about Jesus! Right now he is finishing up ministry school and loves to read books which challenges his faith in Christ to a whole new level. He loves to have relationships and in-depth conversations with people. Angela Algiene- Angela is 22 years old and from Arvada, Colorado She will be a big shining light for children on The World Race especially when around girls. Fun Fact about Angela did you know she was Miss Arvada in 2011? Bet you didn't know that cool fact about Angela! She doesn't come off as a princess who is a snob in fact she is willing to serve others and not even have any makeup on! She will make young women feel great about their image in Christ!
