Many of us deal with different kinds of fear in our lives. I have to admit the month of July was kind of sucky to be real about last month. I let fear creep into my mind about God calling me to The World Race! Some of the lies coming into my head were:
 

  • Blake look at your teammates around you they have special talents and abilities and the world looks at as great!! What do you have Blake? Second rate talents.
  • Blake people are turning silent towards you while others seem to be getting handed everything to them and verbal support! Your really not great Blake your below average!
  • How much adversity you had to rise above is INSANE compared to some at your church and in your WR Team, Comon Blake GIVE UP!!
  • Blake people who play in a worship band are awesome you on the other hand your writing talents are okay.
  • Do you think anyone listens to your Facebook posts? Your Texts? Your Phone Calls ? Really!!
The problem with the statements above is there all statements of Fear!!
Fear= Lies
Satan= The Father of Lies
Satan= Ruler of Hell

 

We need to replace our fears with faith in God!! He is the one who is who is always there for us at ANYTIME when others run away from us!! He is the never changing, never failing, and everlasting God!!
I have a segment in our World Race group called Encouraging Thoughts with Blake! This started about six weeks ago where I put what God is saying in my life to encourage and help others!
Many people in our group have been dealing with fear so this week I made a short youtube video of me speaking of what God said to me about fear to my World Race Route 1 January 2013 squad!!
