God
is teaching me to seek obedience and having a love for him over getting
results. When I stopped reaching for the results, and started reaching for Him,
the results came. I would pray for people and they weren’t healed, and all I
could say was maybe I didn’t do it right or maybe God didn’t want to heal them.
Now
I pray for people out of obedience, not just because I want to see them healed.
Most of the time, they don’t get healed, but I know God is touching them and
giving me an obedient heart. He’s asking me to obey them even when nothing
visibly happens. He’s asking for obedience even when I don’t see the benefits
of it right away or at all.
I’m
trusting him and I believe he trusts me. That’s a very big step for me. It’s
the kind of faith that I want. I want the faith of the centurion and amaze
Jesus with my faith. I know that faith is what pleases God and I just want to
please him.
Since,
my heart has been turned to Jesus’ face and not his hand. He has been bringing
people to me everyday and they’re giving their lives to him. Yesterday, we went to
the Bebe’s house to pray for them. They both excepted Jesus and it was a
special time to see these beautiful widows come to a knowledge of Jesus’ love
for them. Today, I got the opportunity to lead their Muslim granddaughter to Jesus and it was a powerful moment.
be praying for the Bebe’s as they lead their family closer to
Jesus. They have the most beautiful granddaughters that we’ve all been loving
on named Adija that came to faith today and their granddaughter Dorcas. Our hope is to see them again and love on them so more. I look forward to sharing them
with you.
