So we left Szekesferhervar where we had been for about 3 weeks. In that time we had moved 3 times, which consisted of camping, 2 separate churches and many friends and contacts.

This was our goodbye to our college friends, Maria-Germany, Pili-Spain and Marta-Poland, sad to say goodbye!

Our first contacts at the Baptista church, Steve, Anika and their boy Benjamin!

Sarah-one of the cutest girls…Her father is the pastor at the Baptista church and is another one of our contacts

OMG!! This is TAMAS, He is another contact we made at the second church we went to. He went above and beyond and we pretty much all fell in love with him, haha. He is an amazing man of God.

Our team got split up with another team and my two girls, Bethany and Heather were with me this whole month. We are at a castle in Szekesferhervar and having a ball!

After a tear-filled goodbye, we headed 3 hrs. away to a city called Pecs. We were just there for 3 days, but it was at the perfect time. We had another opportunity to speak, but this time it was at a pastors gathering. We had to speak on unity and share our stories. It was very powerful and humbling to be a part of their story. Our contact Brett said that we were an answer to prayer, and relationships started forming between churches that weren’t there before.

Bolash and Brett pictured here on the top of another mountain we climbed in Pecs. These two didn’t know each other before we arrived and are very thankful for the partnership they can have to bring hope to the city.

We left Pecs, and headed to Budapest where we stayed with our contact, John Punch who is pictured here with our Hungarian friend Victor (who came out with us the night we met Viola.

This is a view of Budapest from on top of the Citadella. So gorgeous!!!!

WWII tanks at the Citadella…

Bolash-took us on a tour of the city, so nice. We ran into two of the girls from our last city…so good to see them.

Another view from the Citadella

This city has seen a great deal, WWII, Communism, Defeat and Corrupted Government. We have been in an attitude of prayer since we arrived and know that God has a plan for Hungarians.

So we’ve decided that Hungarians are out of this world amazing. They came to the bus station, helped us carry our bags and said goodbye…We couldn’t have been more grateful.

Esther, my favorite…Hungarian woman alive, and Tamas. These two really have blessed us beyond words. They saw us off when we left Szekesferhervar, came to visit us in Budapest for a youth service and dinner. They drove 2-3 hours round trip to do this, and then 2 days later drove 1 hour to the bus station in Budapest for 15 minutes to see us off. I am so blown away…n spoiled by this kind of love!

Now we are in Bulgaria, and will have a couple days of training there for our next country. The month of November, we’ll be in Turkey. We’re not sure how much we’re going to be able to communicate, but most likely it will be very minimal.  Please pray for our safety and for us to be unified as a team.

Thank you for all of your support, prayers and for following my blog. I am so grateful to have such amazing people lifting me up. The past 3 months have gone by so fast, they have been so memorable and I thank God for each and everyone of you. I pray for you that God continues to bless you and provide for you! I’ll be updating more soon!
