Today we went over to the infectious ward again and it was more amazing than the first time we went. Tres, Ralph, Bethany and Irene all went to visit the guys we met yesterday. They all had to do some procedures so we weren’t able to show the Jesus video like we had planned. But God had another plan, and it was about to go down. We headed over to a room filled with 4 women and some visitors. I was immediately drawn to a woman in the corner and went to sit by her. She was so beautiful and began to tell me in Romanian that her leg was broken. I just wanted to hear her story. Irene began to interview her and as she was asking her about her health condition she shared all about her life. She lost her husband 12 years ago, had no kids or brothers and sisters. She said she prays to God but has no one in her life and feels very alone. I watched her as she wept and thought if she could ask anything of God, what would it be? Moments after I asked that, she told Irene that she wants God to either take her or cure her. That was confirmation and we as a team decided to pray complete healing over her broken heart and her broken hip. It was truly beautiful. Afterwards we just held each other, cried together, wiped each other’s tears, sang, I prayed for her and she let me speak love over her. I remember looking into her eyes and Jesus spoke softly to me that I was holding him and He was holding me back. I felt His presence so real in our tears. Moments before we were strangers, but at that moment we were friends ministering to each other love, more love to broken hearts. Its hard to explain what was happening in those minutes together but I know God was working so deeply in her heart. She matters, her story matters no matter how old and feeble she is. Her heart is turned to Him with love and affection and it changed my life to see Him changing hers. Everyone matters to HIM. She is Leiza
