Today I made a list of some of my favorite things about living in Bulgaria:
- Hanging out with the disabled youth on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Evening walks with Carina
- Beautiful weather that makes me want to spend every single minute outside
- Fretah's laugh
- Watching Survivor with Emma and Alex
- Amazing beds
- Flavorful coffee in the mornings (thanks to my lovely friend, Lindsay)
- Team Bible study on Ruth
- Fresh air from having the windows open
- Prayer and meditation time outside on the balcony after dinner
- Church on Sunday and Wednesday (even if we can't understand everything except for the Jianfei song)
- Delicious food each day
- Fasting from facebook for the month of May
- Talking about my favorite childhood books and movies with Emma
- Justin Bieber wedding videos on youtube
- our contact Daniela and her entire family
- Shopska salad
- Lovely notes from my teammates
My teammates and I are having so much fun here in Bulgaria and I can't believe that we have already been at our new ministry for a whole week. The people here are so kind to us and I'm just trying to enjoy every single day as much as I can!
