Written 4/10/11
Before I write this blog, I want to tell each and every
single one of you reading,  Thank
You
Thank you for taking time out of
your busy schedules to read these blogs (Especially the million I posted up
from my month of being M.I.A).
Thank you for the financial
support you have given.
Thank you for the countless
prayers you have offered up to God on my behalf.
Thank you for the encouraging
comments and emails.
Thank you so much from the bottom
of my heart.
I want you to understand, that you
have truly been on this journey with me, and every life that I have touched in
person, is because of God working through you to support me. You are the wheels
that ride me down this road.
There is no way that I could have
gone on this journey if not for your help. I pray that you fully understand the
impact of Love that you have had, and are having around the world.
It has changed lives, and it has
changed my life forever.
So now I will segue into how my
life has been changed as of April 9, 2011.
As most of you know, I was drawn
to the race because of the issue of human trafficking, and the sex trade. And I
hope you had a chance to watch the last video I put up, so appropriately titled
We Dig Dig Dig, and had a chance to see some of the manual labor I have done
and will be doing this month.
God threw in this curve ball of
doing manual labor at an orphanage, He never stops with the surprises, which is
what makes life with Him so enthralling.
Us girls have the weekend off. And
one of the girls on my new team got into contact with a Thai woman named Emmi,
who is the founder of Lighthouse in Action.
Lighthouse in Action is a
Christian organization that intentionally goes out to the prostitutes,
ladyboys, and lesbians in Chiang Mai to build relationships with them to show
them the love of Jesus Christ. The hope is that through these relationships,
His love will redeem them from their lives of isolation, pain, and confusion,
and show them the path to Love, Hope, and Peace with God.
Emmi shared her story with us. She
was almost sold into the sex trade as a little girl, but her great grandfather
gave her to a Christian orphanage. Her best friend, sadly, had the former fate.
And years later Emmi sat in the hospital bed with her best friend watching her
die of A.I.D.S. Emmi was able to share the love of Jesus with her friend, and
how to be redeemed through putting faith in His display of love on the cross.
Her best friend did choose to put
her faith in Jesus, and is now with our Maker. But Emmi said that’s what
inspired her to start the organization, and to save one more girl, one more
outcast, one more soul.
As Emmi talked, my heart was
pounding within me as if it would burst through my body. My spirit was stirring
as though it was going to spill out on the floor. Her vision and passion is so
directly aligned with my vision and passion. She would be a wonderful woman to
learn from, and this ministry is a ministry I can dedicate my gifts and talents
to for a while.
Then the call was given.
“ I need help, if any of you feel
called to help here, please come.
I knew this month would bring me
more clarity… I had no idea it would be like a crystal.
I’m thankful for God’s
sovereignty.
If my
team had gone to another part of Thailand, I would have never met Emmi or would
have known about this organization, and the pressing need

As it turns out I will be
returning to Chiang Mai, Thailand in October 2011. I have committed two years
to serving in this ministry.
I need a lot of details and
logistical things to be worked out, which include raising support for living in
Thailand for two years.
But I know that God is greater,
and He will supply every one of my needs.
I started the race with this
verse, and now I will finish the race with this verse, and go into the next
season of my life with it.
“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” -1 John 3:18

Actions speak louder than words.

Again, thank you for supporting
me, and allowing me to find my calling for this next upcoming season in my
life.
I’m looking forward to sharing it
with you as well.
Watch this video of Lighthouse in
Action… and see if you feel called to partner alongside me once again.
Thank you with all my heart.

My new blogsite is www.agendalove.com. Be a part of the journey. =)
