Since this is the first country where I have the most difficult time communicating due to the language barrier…this blog will be my team’s work the past two days in pictures and few words… Enjoy!

So far I have lost three things in the past two weeks.. my phone, my AMAZING sleeping liner, and my water bottle… So when we got to Moldova, I bought a temporary water bottle..

I believe this is Russian or Ukranian…I’ve yet to replace the other two.

Moldova has lots of geese and sheep.

Newho…We have been doing manual labor in Gotesti (pronounced Gotesht)
Yesterday, we had to get all the wood (with nails in it still) from here

into here

But what fun is it, if there’s only ONE room to clean out? Oh no..there were quite a few..

And so we worked, and worked and worked and picked up wood sticks from the ceilings of this demolished building (which the guys went up on the roof and broke down). And every here and there we got a little surprise. Sometimes a scrape from a nail in the shoe or hand (thank God nothing piercing skin), and we even found this treasure…..

But we finished!

Then SURPRISE to us, today we took all the wood to this precious lady from the church..

She needs wood to warm her house. Moldova winters are no joke. Right now it’s autumn, and it’s about 45 degrees average when the sun is out!… Umm.. pretty cold..

So we unloaded the truck..

And stacked them all on the side of her house.

Till the truck looked like how we first met him..

Now her and her children will have a warm winter!

After, my team went back to the church to eat lunch. Which is usually yummy and very appropriate, hot soup!

We needed the rest and energy to finish up the work day, by having to paint the outside and inside of this..

An outhouse..

But we worked..

then took a breather (literally)

And worked some more till that outhouse was white washed and looking like brand new!

The pastor of the church has a pizzeria/cafe that helps bring in income to support the church, and is also an alternative for the Moldovans to go to, instead of bars and getting wasted.

And because 12 lei( Moldovan money) equal 1 American dollar. We are able to fit the pizza in our daily $5 American budget for food! Yay!

I LOVE my team, Moldova, pizza, lugging wood, painting outhouses, windy cold, sniffling nose, coughing, and anything else that entails being Jesus’ hands and feet of love extended here in earth.
