I had an awesome three months with Team S.O.L. I learned so much from them, and God truly helped us live out our name (Servants of Love) with the world and each other.
But this is a new season in my life ( and literally..autumn), and The A Team has been placed in my life to continue the growth God has been doing. I’m SOOO pumped about getting to serve alongside these other 5 people. Our squad switched up all the teams a couple days ago in Romania. then my new team and 2 other teams bussed over to Moldova. it took about 15 hours to get from Bucharest, Romania to Gotesti, Moldova. But we all arrived to our contacts safe and sound!
The A in “The A Team”, stands for different things for us all. For me.. it means two things..
Armor ” But let us who live in
the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and
wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation.” 1 Thessalonians 5:8

and
Angels “Do not forget or neglect or refuse to extend hospitality to strangers
[in the brotherhood–being friendly, cordial, and gracious, sharing the
comforts of your home and doing your part generously], for through it
some have entertained angels without knowing it.”
– Hebrews 13:2
Those two verses are super dear to my heart. And I want to live them out not just for the next couple months, but for the rest of my life. By God’s grace.

This month we are helping a church in Moldova with remodeling till next week (tomorrow we’re white washing the outhouse…ever used an outhouse before? It’s quite liberating I must say…), then we go to another church here in Moldova to help with children/youth and sharing our Jesus stories with the community. It’s pretty cold over here..makes me NOT miss NYC winters.. but our ministry contact and the people are so warm.
