Here is a song that I heard a long time ago and has become my prayer more and more over the past months.. We often can be jaded by the superficiality of this world, and get caught up thinking that the true measure of success is based on materials. But material possessions break, get wasted, get lost, get used, get stolen..and then what?
I want to be remembered as one who loved, and not with a love that Bethsaida can muster up, but a love that only God can place in me for others. His love that compels me to act, serve, and forgive. I want to live with this on my mind…On that day when I see God face to face, I can hear the words “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
