I shared a story with some of you a few weeks ago about a sweet lady we had the opportunity to pray for in Los Pinos, one of the extremely poor communities we worked in. She is the grandmother of some of the boys that live with our host Tony, and was really sick. She has had a harder life than most of us could possibly fathom, and for the last few months she's been very ill. Long story short, we were able to pray for her and get some medicines from the pharmarcy and when we went back a few days later she was up moving around, full of energy, and just kept thanking God!

The hardest part about leaving Zion's Gate was saying goodbye to the boys we all grew so close to this month. Below is me and my buddy Ariel. Please keep him and his family in your prayers, as we just got word last night that his dad, a longtime alcoholic, committed suicide.

After a long travel day, we arrived in Granada, Nicaragua for our debrief. Every couple of months we have a few days off to process everything we've done, meet with our squad coaches who fly in from Atlanta to pour into us, and generally just take time to relax and re-energize. The team leaders were blessed to be able to leave a day early and we got to spend some time at this gorgeous lake.

The past few days have been a little piece of paradise. It feels so good to sleep in a bed after a month in my tent! We're staying at a really cute hostel, have been eating delicious American food and enjoying everything Granada has to offer.

This morning my team is leaving for Diriamba, Nicaragua to begin month three of ministry.
Many thanks for your continued prayers and support! God is so good!
