I wanted to give you all an update on how my fundraising efforts are going so far. I have raised over $3,000 so I’m very close to reaching my goal of $3,500 for my first deadline on October 1. Thank you SO much to those of you who have already contributed! Your donations mean so much to me.
Support raising can be pretty overwhelming, but I know our God is faithful and He will provide. He shows up in BIG ways some times, like when a donor wrote me a $1,000 check last Sunday! What a blessing!
I am so thankful for all of my friends who are pitching in to help with my fundraisers. My mom has been bringing in baked goods to her work every week for donations, and I since I started doing the same at La Salle some of my work friends have been helping me bake. I’ve raised over $200!
Over Labor Day Weekend when I was back at home in Emporia, my two best friends in the world planned a fundraiser for me. I’m so thankful for everyone that came out and played! We raised almost $400! There’s some pictures from the day below. Such a fun day!
I’ll be holding a Bowling Fundraiser in Philadelphia on Friday, Sept. 23, from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m. at Hi-Spot Lanes in Roxborough. If you’re in the area I hope you can join me for a fun night out!
A couple of reminders: If you work for a matching gift company, be sure to take advantage of your corporate match. If you could let me know if you have a match I would really appreciate it!
I’m still looking for people to step up as ‘Dollar a Day Donors.’ Those of you who commit to donate $365 will receive a special World Race memento!
THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT!
