Let me tell you a story about a man named Leno (not Jay.)  Leno was pretty hurt, frankly pissed off by his church where he lived, a lot of hurt had been going on in the church, and he stopped going.  Which, I’m pretty sure at one point or another we’ve all been in Leno’s shoes.  Our contact wanted to go to Leno’s house to simply tell him to go back to church. HA!  It’s so interesting what your contacts want you to do, even when you don’t necessarily agree with them wholeheartedly (even with their amazing intentions, you go along with it, with your own little twist you feel from the Lord.)   We didn’t go in there straight up telling Leno to go back to church, we went in there with understanding and love- we went in there laughing and joking around with him as he questioned our teammates race and joked about India being a place that is so “tremendous because people walk around naked with cows.”  Leno is a jolly, jolly man.  We were immediately obsessed with his personality.  His eyes literally sparkled.

The Fathers Heart

by: Katie Eason

I learned so much about the Fathers heart this month. The Lord used our contact, Tony, in huge ways to open my eyes to his very heart. How he lives his life WILL echo in eternity, The aroma of his his worship is spilled on everyone he meets. The Lord continued to speak, Katie look at what he is doing for my name. As the Lord spoke, I started to watch how he lived and I started to see the depth of our Fathers love. He loves relentlessly and unconditional. These boys do not have to earn his love. His love is freely given all the time. It remains unchanging even after he has been rejected. He understands grace and lives by it. I see it in how he disciplines the boys  out of love.  I see it in how his heart aches for complete restoration for these boys. He fights for their hearts to be set free.

“CUGHHH…

[in an affirmative/comforting tone]

Hello and welcome onto the World Race.

On behalf of the World Race and everyone with us throughout the flight, we would like to thank you for choosing us. We recognize that there are other options. We would like to affirm that this quest will not turn out the way you expect. Seat belts are available but not encouraged; for the sake of experiencing the unbridled adventure of your journey to the Father’s heart. You’ll find a bible in the seat-back in front of you if and when you need instruction. For further assistance, please notify the King of glory just above you, and the Comforter will be sent to you shortly.

Throughout the duration of this World Race flight you will be served strange food and drink that you may not enjoy, resulting in a new appreciation of preflight sustenance. We assure you that, with time, the person next to you wants nothing but Divine intimacy for you. We understand that you may become comfortable in the seat that was originally assigned to you, but please seek joy when you are asked to change seats.

A combination of smooth air and turbulence is probable. We have no exit strategy, but there is Light throughout the cabin to direct you into destiny. We must apologize, but fear is not permitted on this particular flight. Right now and for the remainder of eternity, our final destination is perfect in all respects where the current temperature is warm with Holy fire and the time is nonexistent.

Again, welcome and thank you for choosing World Race airlines. Please do not sit back and relax, but rather anticipate glory. A steward of the Holy Spirit will be coming to you shortly with your latest Divine encounter.

CUGHHH…”

These stories are from just three people out of 49 World Racers that I had the privilege to lead into four months of ministry in four countries.
I cannot tell you how many people do not really understand what I did these last four months.  And I realize that for many of you reading this, The World Race doesn’t make much sense to you.
But the POINT IS …
that there are young people (21-35 years old) in countries all over the world who are filled with the Spirit of God and are passionate about seeing the Kingdom of God come on earth as it is in heaven.

that people are encountering God in ways they never thought were possible and watching God transform lives all over the world.

that nations are seeing the glory of God.

that people are getting healed and restored and set free.

that children who have NO ONE and are considered unlovable outcasts in society are being loved and shown affection.

that families are being restored and reconciled as the Father’s heart touches them.

that LOVE is truly covering a multitude of sins.

These racers did not just get up one day and go by themselves into all these places.  They were sent.  They came under a spiritual covering and chose to follow God into the nations within a community.

That means that there are people within this covering or organization, Adventures in Missions (AIM), who are supporting them, praying for them and doing whatever they can to set them up for success on the mission field.

I have been given the opportunity to work as an apprentice alongside humble and passionate people to continue to send the LOVE of God into the nations.

This July…(yes in ONE MONTH!) I will be moving to Gainesville, Georgia (a long way from home…) to work for Adventures in Missions in supporting World Racers who are on the field.  The program is six months long and the Lord has been so clear that this is exactly where he wants me in this time.  It has been a difficult decision because I will have to leave my family and friends once more and my sister is having her first baby.  Not to mention, I have absolutely nothing…no car, no money, no place to live. However, I trust the Lord more than ever and I am eager and excited to begin this new season and journey in my life.

Please be praying for me and if you feel led to give in any way, don’t be shy!
Right now, I am currently praying for:

A Car …preferably with decent gas mileage
An apartment…I have one possibly lined up!
Support in my AIM account…I am setting a goal of $15,000 for 6 months.
..I know, I know it seems like a lot of money.  So I will try and explain:
  • This will be my salary, my income that will cover all my costs of living in America…no longer am I able to eat on a budget of $3 a day!

  • Also, some of what I am raising will allow me to visit my squad (including those who wrote the blogs above) in August and November.  Plane tickets to Africa and Asia are getting kinda pricey.

  • And honestly if 25 people commit to giving $100 a month toward my ministry, I will have reached my goal!  PLUS, it’s tax-deductible…doesn’t get much better than that!

I am confident that this is not difficult for my Father in heaven and so I am praying in boldness for him, in his goodness to provide for his daughter!
