Hey Friends!
I have a prayer request for you all to prayerful consider! Thanksgiving is fast approaching and we are all starting to really miss home and the traditions we normally get to share with all of you! We have fallen in love with the village we are staying in and want more than anything to bless them as much as possible while we are here.
We have decided that we are going to throw a big thanksgiving party for the village and make it a day to remember for us AND for all of our new Cambodian family members who have never celebrated Thanksgiving. I have attached a Paypal link to this blog for you to donate any amount that you can right now to help us celebrate.(copy and past the link into a new browser) We are going to do our best with our resources to make them the American tradition meal, play games, have decorations, and dance to music all day long. We are also going to invite everyone in the village to tell them about Jesus and do a thanksgiving prayer and worship service! Basically we are throwing a GREAT party to give THANKS to God for the ways he has blessed us.
We would like to collect any amount that you can give…… 5$ is all we ask! Prayerfully consider this opportunity to serve us and the village we have been living in, and we would be SO grateful! All leftovers of money that we don't spend for the celebration will go towards the village Christmas party that they have every year. A time where NEW believers enter the Kingdom of God!
