I'm continued to be amazed at every ones love and support. It means the WORLD to me. I can feel your prayers and I encourage you to keep them coming. I may be the one traveling around the world, but its you AND me transforming the Kingdom together ….. prayer is powerful.
This month we worked with an Organization called Outpour Movement in the city of Mae Sot Thailand. We were in Mae Sot for 3 weeks, and then traveled even farther north to a small village town called Mai la Noi. We taught a lot of English classes, visited 3 Childrens homes…… New Jerusalem Home, The Refuge, and Promise Land. We loved on the kids and worshiped our hearts out. Outpour Movement also started a burger restaurant in Mae Sot that employs young Burmese adults to learn business skills and provide them with a job. We worked with them and of course enjoyed some awesome burgers every once and while! 🙂 We did a lot of manual labor by digging up a garden to provide all the vegetables for the restaurant. It was a lot of hard work in the hot sun but it was so rewarding when we saw the finished product! We also took a night to visit a remote village on the border of Burma and Thailand that you can only get to by boat. What an amazing experience that was! We loved on the kids, walked around and prayed for the families, and did some clean up in their community. Such a humbling experience! Our team also enjoyed a full day crossing the border to Burma where we prayed for families, and visited a Leper village. Here, most of the people with leprosy congregate in this area, because a lot of the hospitals have kicked them out due to their condition and according to what tribe they belong to. Burma is a beautiful place, but in need of so much prayer. Just months ago the genocide and war started to slow down. It's a country devastated from the injustice that they have been facing for years. They are now in the process of picking themselves back up again and putting the pieces back together. Despite the devastation and injustice that goes on daily in Thailand, it's known as "The land of smiles" and those smiles will be imprinted on my heart forever!
What a beautiful month this was! So thankful and forever changed. Thank you for all of your support! You all ROCK!
