This month we planted seeds. The friendships we formed with different people in the red light district will hopefully open doors for future teams. They seemed to notice something dufferent in the five of visiting the bars to have real conversations and to hangout with them.
Tuesday was our last night of going into the bars. It was hard to say goodbye to the girls knowing so many of them feel stuck in the bars. If only we could take everyone with us. Or better yet, end sex trafficing!
We ended Tuesday night by hanging out in Joy Bar. It was so great to see everyone one last time, take pictures and laugh with them. As we were walking down the street they were shouting more farewells and well wishes after us.
Having a month of ministry in the red light district of Chiang Mai has been good. Please continue to pray for the girls working there. And for future teams to come and water the seeds we planted.
