So, this month started out with a bang! Thailand is a fascinating, delicious, and beautiful country. Let’s hit the high lights!
1. First night, Haley is baptized in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues during the meet and greet at the church (No one prayed for her, God just did it!) Next day, Christina and Kaysea were baptized in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues! (While praying for someone else.) Just hours later, Sarah was baptized in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues! (Yep, that’s a whole team of tongue waggers! 😉
2. Visited a field of sunflowers (They always remind me to follow the Son!)
3. Visited an old temple that had a high monkey population (They were so amusing to watch!)

4. Got to see a monastery that was patterned after the original Thai architecture. (Absolutely beautiful!)
5. Drank chilled coconut water from freshly picked coconut, while eating fresh papaya. (At a beautiful church member’s home.)
6. We are getting to teach English 4 days a week in the morning at different schools, and in the afternoon sharing the Love of Jesus with the students. (I have gotten to loosen up a little since doing goofy dances are part of the routine! 🙂
7. Rode elephants! (Did this on Rachel’s birthday. 🙂
8. Savoring every bite of Meow’s Thai cooking: Pad Thai, Tom Cu Soup, Green Curry, and so much more! (Meow is such an amazing cook!)
9. Seeing the Lord minister life and refreshment to His body through prophecy and words of encouragement! (He’s so good!)
10. Rode Thai buffalo! (First buffalo I have ever seen wearing a hat for tips! 🙂
11. Loving Thai Culture! (They are so hospitable, sharing, and respectful.)
12. Last of all, let me just say the countryside of Thailand is breathtaking. (Farmland, orchards, mountains, lakes, etc., I can’t begin to describe how very beautiful it all is!)

Back to “not that we seek a sign”, this month we have seen the Lord do some awesome things, but He keeps taking me back to relationship with Him. It’s all about knowing Him. Truly knowing Him, as Father, Savior, Friend, Deliverer, Lover, the great “I Am”, the list goes on and on. He is everything; our all in all! Get this, the Creator of the Universe is head over heels in love with you. Wants a relationship with you. This is truly breathtaking. It should make us stop in awe and wonder that He is calling us to know Him deeply, to know Him intimately, to be captivated by His love, and be forever changed as we sit at His feet.
Signs will follow them that believe, not that we seek a sign, but we seek to look into the eyes of our Savior and be forever changed, transformed, and restored by His mighty love.
