Hi! I am Bethany for those of you that don’t know me, here’s a little history.
I was born and raised in the Heartland of the United States of America.
Small towns and country are what I know and love; big cities have been a part of my experience as well, but only as a matter of course. ๐

Half of my growing up years were spent in a town of about 300,000, and the other half was blissfully treasured in the country side with amber waves of grain outside my bedroom window about 5 miles from a town of 1,300.
As the eldest of five children, who were blessed to receive a homeschool education, I was given a wonderful opportunity to be involved in the every day life of my siblings, and because of the love and respect which were fostered by my parents as an overflow of their love for the Lord, I am very close to all of my family, and I must say abundantly blessed to be a part of their lives. Additional, I can not express how grateful I am to have been raised in a household of faith. Thanks, Dad and Mom.

More random information on me, when I was about 15 years old my daddy took me on my first deer hunt, it proved successful, and ended in a field dressing lesson; among other things my dad has given me a love for the great out doors, sports, physical activity, clear communication, and classical music.
As part of my home education, my mother helped me appreciate nutrition, reading, cooking, order, functionality, and chocolate. ๐

I didn’t learn to swim til I was eleven, and at sixteen became a lifeguard. Haven’t rescued anyone to date.
I attended bible college in the big city of Dallas at Christ For The Nations Institute as a second generationer, this is also where I had my first taste of coffee at age 21.

Ran a marathon 4 years ago. (Pictured above is the best part of the race.)

Saw The Wizard of Oz for the first time last month, and yes, I am from Kansas.
I like math, a good joke, peanut butter, worship, hiking, science, camping, Thai food, singing, and sarcasm.

I have pulled my tongue not once, but twice, while licking peanut butter off a spoon (yes, your tongue is a muscle, so it is possible).
Have always wanted to do short term missions trips, but never thought I would be involved in missions at the long term level, but God’s ways are higher than our ways. I am excited to see what the Lord has in store.

You probably now know more random facts about me than most people, and I hope it made you laugh a little! ๐
