Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind. [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of [his] good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world. Philippians 2:2-4 and 12b-15

As part of the body of Christ I am called to live a life of love. Being concerned for those around me and not just my own life. Contrary to poplar belief I am not an island. What I do and the choices I make effect not only me, but generations to come. So may I leave a legacy of love that shouts the love of Christ which brought freedom to the captive, sight to the blind, and the oil of joy for mourning. This life of love is to be simply an out flow of the love I have for my King. It’s not a performance. It’s an act of worship and adoration of my mighty Lord. It’s about a relationship, a life giving, abundant, satisfying, life changing relationship. Thanks to Him, I’ll never be the same, and to put it simply the world must know…know what He has done for me, and what He died for…them. So Lord, may I treat each man, woman, and child as the priceless treasure that You say they are. Blessing them with Your abundant life through every word I speak and every move I make, leaving a Legacy of Love, because You are…Love.
