Tomorrow is the grand opening of the Betania School of Music. We have been spending the last week and a half preparing for the opening and now it's finally here! 22 students will be showing up for the first day of class!

I have been so blessed to be apart of what God is doing in El Salvador.

Yesterday I stumbled upon an old journal that I wrote when I was graduating college. It was titled, "so what are you doing after college". Here are a few excerpts:

"I am working my butt off and doing music on the side, and one day I am hoping to make an income through music."

"I feel like God has such a great calling on my life, to do something great with music. This overwhelming calling makes me become frustrated or discouraged when I feel inadequate to accomplish it.  I know he uses people that aren't necessarily the most qualified.  I just wish I was a little bit more qualified."

Oh how God has completely transformed my life. I thought that I was going to pursue a career in music, but now I really have an opportunity to glorify God through music.

God's plans are always better, bigger, greater, and more exciting than ours. I could have settled for that life. I could have chosen to work two jobs and pursue a career in music. Or I could be building the Kingdom of God!

Don't settle for less and allow God to change your plans!

My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.
“And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so my ways are higher than your ways
and my thoughts higher than your thoughts."

Isaiah 55:8-9
