An Update from Botswana

Team Zion arrived safe and sound on Wednesday August 1st. We will be staying at Love Botswana Mission Outreach in the city of Maun, working with some of their contact throughout the community but also doing some ministry on our own, specifically ATL (see my blog called the Art of ATL).

Our travel plans worked out well, but we still found that traveling in Africa means you lose all right to personal space and the number of seats available means nothing!

We were kindly driven from Pretoria to Gaberone, Botswana, by friends named Colin & Kathy. This was a comfortable ride with just World Racers in the Sprinter (like a mini bus). However, in Gaberone, we boarded a very nice public transportation bus to take us to Maun. We arrived early and were all able to get seats, but the aisle quickly filled up with passengers and remained that way till we all piled off 7 hours later.

We will be ministering in Maun until August 20th, when we load back up on a bus back to South Africa to catch a plane to Thailand.

Thank you for all your support and encouragement.

God’s Shalom rest upon you all!
