Greetings from the greatest state in the Union,
for all of you that are unaware that would be MICHIGAN, surrounded by the Great Lakes, the home of the Motor City, and the Michigan Wolverines (Go Blue).

Who am I? I am the youngest daughter of two amazing parents who love Jesus and love their family almost as much. I am the sister, sister in law, aunt, and best friend to my sister’s family, which is full of joy from the 4 most magnificent children in the world. I have been blessed with the opportunity to live with my sister and her family for the last two years. Talk about an adventure, try going from living by yourself for nearly 5 years to moving into a household of 7. I also enjoy getting out of the chaos of the city, and experiencing the peace of the wilderness. I love watching movies, playing with my nieces and nephews, swimming in the Great Lakes, and using my public library.

As much as I love my home and family, God has called me on this yearlong adventure to change the world. Truthfully, the last 4 years of my life have been an adventure. During a spring break mission trip my senior year of high school, I gave my life over to God as his servant. I declared, “I will go anywhere you need me to go, GOD lead me.” He led me in the direction of youth ministry, which is what I have been doing for the past 6 years. I LOVE KIDS! Junior High, senior high it doesn’t matter, I love them. Nevertheless, youth ministry as practiced today doesn’t seem to be the best fit. The middle class suburbia American lifestyle is not cutting it for me. There is so much more out there, too many people who need to hear about the love and grace of Jesus Christ, to be stuck inside the walls of the church. So, I am breaking out, going back to that promise I made to God in the dirt of Mexico 9 years ago to go wherever he leads. World Race here I come!
