That line of the song gets me every single time. It helps to realign my spirit with the truth of God’s word.
Matthew 6:8b (The Voice)
“… Your prayers need not be laboured or lengthy or grandiose- for your Father knows what you need before you EVER ask Him.”
Being here at CGA (center for global action), there are so many times that I have had to continually remind myself that He already knows what I need before I ask Him.
Wow! We have such a loving and omniscient Father!!
He knows what He has called me to and He has all the resources to provide me with everything that I need. Materially and financially!!!
So why do I even worry???
The Father specifically tells us in His word not to worry in Matthew 6:25-34.
He has EVERYTHING that we need for EVERY season of our lives.
Ecclesiates 3:1 (NIV)
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven…”
The Father knows your every need and He is more than able to provide.
Not just financial needs but also spiritual and emotional needs.
2 Peter 1:3 (VOICE)
“His divine power has given us everything we need to experience life and to reflect God’s true nature through the knowledge of the One who called us by His glory and virtue.”
He’s already provided everything you need.
Now GO!
Experience this life that He has given you and begin to mirror your Father!
