Tonight I was reminded of the simple truth that
God Answers Prayer
This summer, I've had the awesome opportunity to be apart of a poolside outreach every Thursday night. Tonight we talked to the kids about how God answers prayers. And although we were teaching the kids, God was gently reminding me that I needed to remember this simple concept.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
Trust Him with the finances for this trip.
Trust Him to provide.
Trust Him to answer every prayer.
God has always come through for me. It may not have been the way I would've imagined, but He has never failed.
Jesus said,
"Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Matthew 17:20 NIV
So I speak to my mountain of financial deadlines and I am telling it to MOVE! I'm stepping out with this childlike faith and presenting my requests to God, knowing that he is going to answer every prayer.
God has never failed me and he won't start now.
