This is tough for me because often I want to do things on my own. Given the blessing of a good job before the WorldRace, it seems to me like I should fund myself. Many of you have blessed me over and over to continue to live after God's calling for me this year. You have desired to be a blessing, but it is tough for me to ask for your help when you already do so much. Most of you have given without me even asking, and you still want to support any way possible if you're given the opportunity.

Paul said it better than me: "I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength." Philippians 4:10-13

Every time we have had a funding deadline, those supporting me have blessed me more than the previous deadline all the way to the point that you gave everything needed for the April 1st deadline.

Now we're less than a month away from June 1st when our total goal is due. You'll see a meter at the top of this page showing my funding status. This is where it gets hard for me, but everyone I have talked to has encouraged me to get over myself and just ask… Here's to faith! So, here goes…

This month, I choose to give up all personal money and only use the $10/day WorldRace budget for food, lodging, and transportation. Every Friday, I will give up food and electronics to seek the Lord and pray specifically for you.
