As a World Racer I’m required to put forward some of my expectations for the race, here we go…
1. I expect and hope to be challenged in ways I’ve never been before.
2. I expect to become more and more consumed with His ways, rather than mine.
3. I hope I began to see the world in another light, to become the eyes of Christ, eyes filled with compassion, endless grace, relentless mercy, and unconditional love.
4. I hope I give nothing but my all because I know that the little I have to surrender, God can expand to do His will.
5. I expect to be inexplicably broken so that I may come to be more compassionate for the people and places that break God’s heart.
6. I want to strive to live for a purpose greater than myself.
7. It is my prayer to see lives changed and filled with divine purpose.
8. I expect to come back a changed person, even more than I could have ever fathomed.
9. I desire to see life brought to where death and darkness reign.
10. I pray that I will be continually humbled and become increasingly thankful by all that I will experience!
11. I hope my expectations are only a fragment of what God desires to do in and through my team and I on this adventure.
