Our time here in Rwanda has been awesome so far. I’m amazed by how beautiful the countryside is and the people are.
I’m falling in love with this country.

I am especially in love with our host family. I love Pastor Fred and his wife Mary. His children are wonderful blessings to us. The one I’ve really connected to is Eve. She’s 22, and she is in love with The Lord with her whole heart. I’ve loved getting to talk to her so far and just build up my relationship with her. (I’m looking forward to seeing how God will continue to build it up.)

So we live in Kigali. But we minister in Gahanga. It’s about a 25 minute drive from our house to the church. And we make the round trip twice a day. It’s a lot of driving, but it’s so beautiful.

Our ministry schedule is kinda crazy, but awesome. It’s definitely going to keep us busy this month that we’re here.

Ministry schedule:
Sundays–we have the church service where one of us will preach.
Mondays–day off
Tuesday-Friday am–door-to-door evangelism for some of the team. The rest of us are teaching English lessons to children at the church building.
Tuesday-Friday pm–church service in which one of us preach. There’s also typically a children’s service that goes on at the same time a couple times a week.
Saturdays–?? It could be a day off, or there might be something that could come up that we might do.

I will also probably have some type of prayer ministry while I’m here. I’m still waiting to hear from the Lord to see what it will look like though.

I’m feeling The Lord start to move and work. And I’m just excited to join in with Him what He’s doing here in Rwanda.

These are some pictures that were taken by some of my squad mates as we were driving in Rwanda to Kigali!
