I can remember signing up for my route being so excited about Thailand. I had hoped that we would be there the month of the lantern festival.
You can imagine my disappointment when I found out that we were missing the festival by one month. One. Month.

So one of the first days that we were walking around, The Lord gave me a vision for sending off sky lanterns that I could do with my team.

I took action.
I found the sky lanterns in the Chinese Market.
And then I just had to wait for it to be my night for team time.

Well it happened on Tuesday night. And it was beautiful.
The Lord brought us to a small beach beside the Iron Bridge.
The Lord happened to place a little boy next to where we were setting the lanterns off, which was awesome. (I couldn’t find a lighter, so I had bought a box of matches. Let’s just say the matches didn’t work.) The little boy happened to have a lighter, so he graciously helped us with sending up our lanterns.

After the awesome experience of sending off our sky lanterns, we spent some time thanking The Lord for what He’s done and what He’s doing.

It was a sweet night.
And a super sweet memory.
