I love God’s timing. He always puts you in the right place
at the exact right time. You just have to trust Him, because He’s the one
seeing the big picture here…
Back in August of 2009, I knew God was telling me to move to
Charlotte, NC. I had no idea why. I knew I needed a new place with new people,
and I needed to be rejuvenated. I spent most of my “adult” life giving. Giving
time into the ministry; giving time into people, just giving. And I had reached
the end of my rope. During the summer, I had a breaking moment. A moment where
God said “Let people give to you. Let them minister into your life, and you
just enjoy Me. Don’t worry about leading others, just find yourself and who you
are in Me.” So I did. I moved to Charlotte, met the most amazing group of
people, attended the most awesome church, and just spent time getting to know
God again. It was exactly what I needed. And just when I was starting to get
settled, God told me it was time to start giving again.
I am so excited to be where I am in life. I love getting up
every day knowing I am exactly where God wants me to be. And even though it
kills me to leave this awesome community of people in Charlotte, God has bigger
plans. I am moving back to Dublin, GA for the fall, while preparing for my trip
in January. I am reuniting with several old friends who I lost touch with, and
enjoying time with the ‘rents. J
I’m going to be spending a lot of time investing in Dublin
Bible Church, where I spent most of my time as a kid/teenager. I can’t wait to
pour myself back into the lives involved in this church. God knew where my
heart was, He only needed to get me rejuvenated and excited to be here again.
Some people would say moving around so much is exhausting,
and a bit drastic just for a little life refresh. But sometimes it takes
drastic measures to really get focused on God’s will for your life. So if you
know God is calling you somewhere, or towards something, GO! Jump in head
first! Because God sees the bigger picture, and knows exactly what you need in
order to complete that picture. You just have to trust that He’s in charge.
Love always,
B
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,”
declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you
hope and a future.”
