Sometimes there are things locked away
within us that are necessary to walk through to bring refinement. It is the
glorious paradox-that it’s better to be broken and scattered in a million
pieces than to never be broken at all. It’s better to be lost and found than to
have never been lost in the first place. Prior to all of this, I was free, but
now I am just walking in deeper sense of freedom…continuing daily. God always has a deeper level of freedom that
He wants to take us to in which we must also be willing to fight for.
Okay, back to the story, to make it
short and sweet … that day things changed. I made the choice to no longer stand
for the lies of rejection and under the fear of conditional love. It is simply
unacceptable and is not truth in my life. So finally I got over my pride, asked
for prayer and with that so much freedom was released! It was beautiful!
And
the revelation hit me: It has nothing to do with chasing love,
but absolutely everything about chasing to be loved first!
It is our nature to want love. We were
made to be loved by God, but the enemy distorts and schemes against the truth
which sends us searching for love in all the wrong places. From there we become
insecure and look to anything and anyone for the sake of being loved.
The world nurtures conditional love.
Although His love is deeper than imagined, its automatically assumed that Christ’s
love is something to be earned…FALSE. The fact of the matter is: there is
NOTHING we can do to make God love us more; likewise, there is nothing we can
do to make God love us less. He loves us 100% ALL the time!
We need to stop trying to EARN God’s
love, accept that we’re not perfect and be okay with the fact that mistakes are
going to happen. Even though God is omniscient, we still try to hide our imperfections
from Him. We run and hide thinking ohh God’s not going to love me if dot dot
dot… it’s nonsense! His love is irrevocable. Nothing can separate us from
that! And if we are still trying to live by the Law what is the purpose of
Jesus Christ?! No longer is life about right and wrong it is of Freedom and
Grace! Take a sigh of relief! Thank you Jesus for that one!!! 🙂
God is love. Since God’s existence has no beginning and no
end, it also means LOVE has always existed. Hmm…fathom that one. It is the foundation of which all
things are built.
We
are created to be love, to have love and to give love. If
you love God, you love others. You become Christ with skin on. You strive to
love your neighbor as yourself, because you see Christ in them. So when you
love them, you’re loving Jesus at the same time. You become love. It comes from the core; from the Christ in you,
from the inside out. Being directly connected to the source there’s a constant
flow of love within to give away…
THIS
is what is going to change the world.
